SUNNYVALE, Calif., October 16th, 2019 – Apurba's CEO presented a paper title “Doctor-Patient Encounter in a “Wired Room”: Face Detection and Tracking using Deep Learning” at BMES Annual Meeting 2019. This event was organized by Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) on 16-19th October 2019 in Philadelphia.
This paper focused on creating a “smart room,” an analytics platform to collect and mine doctor-patient interactions in order to gather a wealth of unexplored medical data. The paper discussed specifically on facial expression analysis within this context using a deep learning approach.
